Dear sir.
I agree fully with you. It is high time we as a civilised nation stopped bursting crackers and burning explosive powder to celebratae life. In the bargain we lose some lives too. But this is not an isolated idiocy we indulge in. Look around and see what stupid things we do as a nation and individuals. All that we can do is to wonder if are inteligent thinking beings!

You have a point. Any one who indulges in terrorist activity declares war against nation. The solder who faces another solder eye ball to eye ball does not think of the other solder's family or children who will probably be left orphans and destitutes if he shoots him. The nation is looking into the gun barrel of Afzals. The nation cannot go on thinking of the effects of pulling the trigger on the opponent. In a war every one is for himself and devil takes the one slow on the trigger.
Any one who declares war on the nation and the society does so fully realising the certain possibility of death and need not expect any mercy or clemency.
Just think of any one who is incarcerated for life. What is the point in his life? Why troture him like that? Better to finish him off. He will be better off and the society will be better off too.
Any one not willing to face the gallows should not become a terrorist.
The rest of the society has a right peace and stability just as ‘Afzals' have rig |
